Any lakeshore application of Copper Sulfate requires an annual permit from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.
Your membership dues pay for the application and permitting. Distribution of chemical is performed prior to Memorial Day and applications for Copper Sulfate must be received no later than May, 1 of the permitting year.
